Shipping policy

Where we ship

We ship within the United States only. We do not ship internationally.

Carrier and service

We ship by USPS Priority Mail. This is the only service we use. We do not ship by UPS, FedEx, DHL or any other carrier, and we cannot make an exception for an individual order.

If you cannot receive USPS mail at your delivery address, email us at hello@kannaextract.com before you place your order. This applies if USPS does not deliver to your address, if your building refuses USPS parcels, or if your mailbox cannot accept a package.

If you order without telling us and the shipment fails for that reason, we do not refund the shipping charge.

Shipping rates

  • Flat rate: $10.
  • Free on orders of $100 or more, calculated after any discount and before tax.

Rates are shown at checkout once you enter your delivery address.

Processing time

Orders placed before 5:00 pm Pacific on a business day ship the following business day. Orders placed after 5:00 pm Pacific, on a weekend, or on a US federal holiday ship the next business day after that.

Payment must clear before an order ships. An order held by our fraud or address checks does not begin processing until the hold is resolved.

Transit time

USPS Priority Mail usually arrives two to five business days after it leaves us. This is a USPS estimate, not a guarantee, and we do not control it. Weather, carrier backlogs and holiday volume all add time.

You receive a tracking number by email once USPS scans the package. USPS tracking can lag by up to 48 hours, and USPS sometimes skips the first acceptance scan. A tracking number that has not updated for a day or two does not mean the package is lost.

Your delivery address

Check your address before you pay. You are responsible for the address you enter at checkout.

If a package is returned to us or misdelivered because the address was wrong, incomplete or out of date, we refund the product price only. The shipping charge is not refunded. If you want the order sent again, you pay shipping again.

The same applies to a package refused at delivery or left unclaimed at a Post Office until USPS returns it.

Packages marked delivered

When USPS marks a package delivered, we treat it as delivered. We do not replace it and we do not refund it.

You can file a claim with USPS yourself using your tracking number. We do not file claims for customers and we do not take part in the claims process.

How to file a USPS claim

  • Online: file at usps.com/help/claims.htm. You need a USPS.com account, your tracking number, and proof of value — your order confirmation email works for this.
  • Missing mail search: if the package never arrived and tracking has stalled, start at usps.com/help/missing-mail.htm.
  • In person: take your tracking number and your order confirmation to any Post Office and ask for a domestic claim form (PS Form 1000). Staff at the counter will tell you what else they need.

USPS sets its own deadlines. For a lost package you generally have to wait at least seven days before filing, and claims usually must be filed within 60 days of the mailing date. Check the USPS pages above for the current rules before you file.

USPS Priority Mail includes a limited amount of insurance at no extra charge. The amount and the terms are set by USPS, not by us.

Damaged packages

If a package arrives damaged, email us within seven days of delivery with photos of the outer packaging, the label and the contents. We will replace or refund the damaged items at our discretion. Keep the packaging until the matter is settled — USPS may ask to inspect it.

Risk of loss

Title and risk of loss pass to you when we hand the package to USPS.

Bulk and wholesale

Bulk and wholesale shipments are arranged individually and are not covered by this policy. See our Bulk + Wholesale page.
