This policy explains what personal information Kanna Extract Co. collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.

We sell and ship within the United States only. This site is not directed to people outside the United States.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Name, email address, phone number, shipping address and billing address.
- Order history, subscription details and the contents of your cart.
- Payment information. Card numbers go to our payment processor, not to us. We see the card type, the last four digits and whether the payment succeeded.
- Emails you send us, and anything you include in them.
- Reviews, ratings and photos you submit.
- Your marketing preferences.
Information collected automatically
- Your IP address, device type, operating system, browser and screen size.
- Pages you view, links you click, what you add to cart, and how you arrived at the site.
- Approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Cookie and pixel identifiers. See Cookies below.
Information from others
- Fraud and address-verification signals from our payment processor.
- Delivery status from USPS.
- Advertising identifiers from ad platforms where you interacted with our ads.
We do not collect sensitive personal information as US state privacy laws define it. We do not ask for health information, and we do not use purchase history to infer any health condition.
Why we use it
- To take, charge, ship and support your orders, and to manage subscriptions.
- To answer your emails and handle returns and claims.
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse of our policies.
- To send marketing messages you have opted into, and to measure how our advertising performs.
- To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
- To meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with the following, for the purposes described above:
- Shopify — hosting, storefront, checkout and payment processing.
- USPS — delivery.
- Recharge — subscription billing and the subscription portal.
- Judge.me — product reviews.
- Affiliatly — affiliate referral tracking.
- X (Twitter) — advertising measurement, through a conversion pixel on our site.
- Analytics and advertising providers connected to our store from time to time, for measurement and audience matching.
- Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers, where needed.
- Law enforcement or a court, where we are legally required to respond, and anyone acquiring the business.
Some of this sharing for advertising may count as a "sale", "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under US state privacy laws. You can opt out — see below.
Cookies and tracking
We and our providers use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to keep your cart working, to remember your preferences, to measure site traffic, and to show you our ads on other sites.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some of the site will stop working if you block all of them.
We honor the Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt that browser out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising.
Your rights
Some US states give their residents specific privacy rights. We extend the following rights to everyone who asks, regardless of where you live:
- Know and access — ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correct — have inaccurate information fixed.
- Delete — have your personal information erased.
- Portability — receive your information in a portable format.
- Opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising.
- Non-discrimination — we will not charge you more, give you less, or refuse to serve you because you exercised a right.
- Appeal — if we decline a request, you can ask us to reconsider, and we will respond in writing.
How to make a request
Email hello@kannaextract.com with what you want. Send it from the email address on your orders so we can identify you; if you cannot, we may ask for other details to verify who you are. We do not use verification information for anything else.
We respond within 45 days. If we need longer, we tell you why before that deadline.
An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission.

What we keep after a deletion request
We delete what we can. We keep records we are required or permitted to keep: completed transaction records for tax and accounting, information needed to resolve a dispute or a payment chargeback, and a minimal record that you asked to be deleted, so that we do not re-add you to a list.
How long we keep information
We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We keep marketing contact details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We keep website analytics data in aggregated form.
Security
We use the security controls built into Shopify's platform, including encryption of payment data in transit, and we limit who can access customer records. No system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee that a breach will never happen. If one occurs that affects you, we will notify you as required by law.
Children
Our products are for adults. This site is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete it. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us.
Marketing communications
We only send marketing email or text messages to people who opted in. Unsubscribe using the link in any email, or reply STOP to any text. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages about an order you placed.
Other sites
Our site links to other websites. This policy does not cover them. Read theirs.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be announced on this page.
