LIFT, BLISS and REST are our kanna extracts, and they differ by alkaloid ratio — LIFT is 80% mesembrine and the brightest, REST carries the most Δ7-mesembrenone and is the calmest. All three are 5% total alkaloids, guaranteed every batch, and all three are also sold as powders if you would rather set your own amount.
RELAX is for when you want to come down a notch without going to sleep. Calmer, looser, still able to work and talk and drive. It is the formula for the middle of a long day as much as the end of one.
That balance comes from the extract. Kanna's alkaloids pull in different directions — mesembrine is the bright, social one and mesembrenone is the calm one. RELAX is built on BLISS, where those two sit closest together. It is the balanced extract in our range, and it is why this is calm rather than sedation.
The 625mg blend holds the same line: L-theanine, magnolol and honokiol, organic reishi and organic ashwagandha. Five ingredients, all working on ease rather than sedation.
You cannot judge a capsule by looking at it. Most kanna capsules give you a blend weight and stop there — no extract named, no ratio. Ours are on this page and on the pouch.
What to expect
Calmer and less wound up, without losing the ability to think clearly. That is the difference between this and an evening formula.
Onset is 30 to 60 minutes — slower than loose powder, because the capsule has to open first. Effects run two to three hours from there.
If you want something that actively pulls toward sleep, that is DREAM. RELAX is deliberately not that.

How to take it
One capsule, with or without food. If you want it stronger, two is fine. Most people do not need more.
Any time of day. RELAX does not sedate, so it does not have to be an evening capsule, though plenty of customers use it that way.
The amount in a capsule is fixed. BLISS powder with a milligram scale is the option if you want to set your own.

Every lot is tested by an independent laboratory: alkaloid profile by HPLC, plus screening for heavy metals, pesticides, residual solvents, and microbial contamination.

Sourcing
Grown in South Africa without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. Sceletium falls under South Africa's Bioprospecting, Access and Benefit Sharing regulations and the Nagoya Protocol, because its use rests on Khoi and San traditional knowledge. Our grower holds the BABS permitting and the benefit-sharing agreement with the Khoi communities who hold that knowledge.

Common questions
Will it make me sleepy?
It should not. Nothing in RELAX is a sedative, and the extract underneath it is our balanced one rather than our calmest. If you want something that pulls toward sleep, DREAM is the one built for that.
Which Daily should I pick?
Each one pairs a different kanna extract with a blend chosen to push it further in one direction. RELAX is the calm one you can still work on. DESIRE uses the same extract aimed at warmth and connection. PLAY and FOCUS are the bright, daytime ones, and DREAM is the evening one.
How many capsules should I take?
One capsule is a serving. Two is fine if you want it stronger. Most people do not need more.
How long before I feel it, and how long does it last?
Usually 30 to 60 minutes. A capsule takes longer to come on than loose powder because it has to open first. Effects last two to three hours.
How is RELAX different from BLISS powder?
Same extract, same 25mg serving. BLISS is that extract on its own in a jar with a scoop, and you set the amount. RELAX is the same 25mg in a capsule with 625mg of L-theanine, magnolol, honokiol, reishi and ashwagandha around it, at a fixed serving.
Can I take kanna with an antidepressant?
Not without talking to your prescriber first. Kanna's alkaloids act on serotonin, and combining serotonergic substances carries a real risk. This applies to SSRIs, SNRIs, MAO inhibitors, tricyclics, lithium, triptans, tramadol, dextromethorphan, St. John's Wort, and 5-HTP.
Is kanna legal?
Kanna is not a controlled substance in the United States and is sold here as a dietary supplement. Regulations differ by country, so check your local law before ordering internationally.
Can I take it every day?
Many customers do. Others keep it for days when they want it. We'd rather you find your own pattern than follow a schedule we invented.
How should I store it?
Sealed, in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight. Keep it away from children and pets.
