LIFT, BLISS and REST are our kanna extracts, and they differ by alkaloid ratio — LIFT is 80% mesembrine and the brightest, REST carries the most Δ7-mesembrenone and is the calmest. All three are 5% total alkaloids, guaranteed every batch, and all three are also sold as powders if you would rather set your own amount.
PLAY is for the days you want to feel more like doing things. Outgoing, motivated, easier in conversation. You feel it the same day rather than after weeks of daily use, which is unusual for anything sold for mood.
That comes from the ratio. Kanna's alkaloids pull in different directions — mesembrine is the bright, social one, mesembrenone is the calm one, and Δ7-mesembrenone is the sedating one. PLAY is built on LIFT at 80% mesembrine, so the bright one dominates and the other two stay low.
The 625mg blend is chosen to push the same direction rather than a different one: rhodiola for stamina, theobromine from cacao for a warm lift, and organic Hericium erinaceus.
Most kanna capsules print a blend weight and nothing else. No extract named, no alkaloid figures. You cannot tell what you bought by looking at a capsule, so we print the ratio instead.
What to expect
Awake and outward. It is easier to start a conversation on PLAY than to sit quietly through one, which is what a mesembrine-dominant ratio does.
Onset is 30 to 60 minutes — slower than loose powder, because the capsule has to open first. Effects run two to three hours from there.
One capsule is a serving. Nothing to weigh, no scoop. That is the main reason people move across from the powders.
Some people feel very little the first time. Try it once more on a different day before deciding it is not for you.

How to take it
One capsule, with or without food. If you want it stronger, two is fine. Most people do not need more.
Morning or early afternoon. Taken late it can make it harder to wind down, because a mesembrine-dominant ratio is the opposite of a sedating one.
The amount in a capsule is fixed. If you want to set your own, LIFT powder and a milligram scale will do that.
Testing
Every lot is tested by an independent laboratory: alkaloid profile by HPLC, plus screening for heavy metals, pesticides, residual solvents, and microbial contamination.

Grown in South Africa without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. Sceletium falls under South Africa's Bioprospecting, Access and Benefit Sharing regulations and the Nagoya Protocol, because its use rests on Khoi and San traditional knowledge. Our grower holds the BABS permitting and the benefit-sharing agreement with the Khoi communities who hold that knowledge.

Which Daily should I pick?
Each one pairs a different kanna extract with a blend chosen to push it further in one direction. PLAY is the bright, outgoing one. FOCUS is the same extract aimed at concentration. RELAX and DESIRE both use a calmer extract, and DREAM is the evening one.
How many capsules should I take?
One capsule is a serving. Two is fine if you want it stronger. Most people do not need more.
How long before I feel it, and how long does it last?
Usually 30 to 60 minutes. A capsule takes longer to come on than loose powder because it has to open first. Effects last two to three hours.
How is PLAY different from LIFT powder?
Same extract, same 25mg serving. LIFT is that extract on its own in a jar with a scoop, and you set the amount. PLAY is the same 25mg in a capsule with 625mg of rhodiola, theobromine and Hericium erinaceus around it, at a fixed serving.
Can I take kanna with an antidepressant?
Not without talking to your prescriber first. Kanna's alkaloids act on serotonin, and combining serotonergic substances carries a real risk. This applies to SSRIs, SNRIs, MAO inhibitors, tricyclics, lithium, triptans, tramadol, dextromethorphan, St. John's Wort, and 5-HTP.
Is kanna legal?
Kanna is not a controlled substance in the United States and is sold here as a dietary supplement. Regulations differ by country, so check your local law before ordering internationally.
Can I take it every day?
Many customers do. Others keep it for days when they want it. We'd rather you find your own pattern than follow a schedule we invented.
How should I store it?
Sealed, in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight. Keep it away from children and pets.
