LIFT, BLISS and REST are our kanna extracts, and they differ by alkaloid ratio — LIFT is 80% mesembrine and the brightest, REST carries the most Δ7-mesembrenone and is the calmest. All three are 5% total alkaloids, guaranteed every batch, and all three are also sold as powders if you would rather set your own amount.
DESIRE is for the evenings you want to feel warm and open with the people you are with. Unhurried rather than lively. Good company rather than high energy.
That comes from the extract. Kanna's alkaloids pull in different directions — mesembrine is the bright, social one, mesembrenone is the calm one, and Δ7-mesembrenone is the sedating one. DESIRE is built on BLISS, where mesembrine and mesembrenone are held closest together. It is a body-centred effect rather than a mental one.
The 625mg blend is four botanicals with long traditional histories as tonics: damiana, muira puama, catuaba and organic cordyceps. They are the same plants used in their home regions for centuries, and we name every one.
Nothing about a capsule tells you what is in it. Most kanna capsules print a blend weight and stop — no extract named, no alkaloid figures. Ours are listed here in full.
What to expect
Warm and unhurried. It is easier to sit with people on DESIRE than to hold a room, which is the opposite of what PLAY does.
Onset is 30 to 60 minutes — slower than loose powder, because the capsule has to open first. Effects run two to three hours from there.
It does not sedate. If you want something that pulls toward sleep, that is DREAM.

Some people notice little the first time. Give it another evening before deciding.

How to take it
One capsule, with or without food. If you want it stronger, two is fine. Most people do not need more.
Afternoon or evening suits it best. It is not a sleep formula, so it will not cut an evening short.
A capsule is one fixed amount. BLISS powder lets you change it; this does not.

Grown in South Africa without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. Sceletium falls under South Africa's Bioprospecting, Access and Benefit Sharing regulations and the Nagoya Protocol, because its use rests on Khoi and San traditional knowledge. Our grower holds the BABS permitting and the benefit-sharing agreement with the Khoi communities who hold that knowledge.

How is DESIRE different from RELAX?
Same kanna extract, different blend. RELAX pairs BLISS with L-theanine, magnolol, honokiol, reishi and ashwagandha, and aims at coming down a notch. DESIRE pairs it with damiana, muira puama, catuaba and cordyceps, and aims at warmth rather than calm.
Which Daily should I pick?
Each one pairs a different kanna extract with a blend chosen to push it further in one direction. DESIRE is the warm one. RELAX uses the same extract aimed at calm. PLAY and FOCUS are the bright, daytime ones, and DREAM is the evening one.
How many capsules should I take?
One capsule is a serving. Two is fine if you want it stronger. Most people do not need more.
How long before I feel it, and how long does it last?
Usually 30 to 60 minutes. A capsule takes longer to come on than loose powder because it has to open first. Effects last two to three hours.
How is DESIRE different from BLISS powder?
Same extract, same 25mg serving. BLISS is that extract on its own in a jar with a scoop, and you set the amount. DESIRE is the same 25mg in a capsule with 625mg of damiana, muira puama, catuaba and cordyceps around it, at a fixed serving.
Does it contain caffeine?
No. There are no stimulants in it — not in the kanna extract and not in the blend.
Can I take kanna with an antidepressant?
Not without talking to your prescriber first. Kanna's alkaloids act on serotonin, and combining serotonergic substances carries a real risk. This applies to SSRIs, SNRIs, MAO inhibitors, tricyclics, lithium, triptans, tramadol, dextromethorphan, St. John's Wort, and 5-HTP.
Is kanna legal?
Kanna is not a controlled substance in the United States and is sold here as a dietary supplement. Regulations differ by country, so check your local law before ordering internationally.
Can I take it every day?
Many customers do. Others keep it for days when they want it. We'd rather you find your own pattern than follow a schedule we invented.
How should I store it?
Sealed, in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight. Keep it away from children and pets.
